Primary Function
Position will serve as the Supervisor for the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program for CIHA Behavioral Health. The Medication Assisted Treatment Program is the use of medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders and prevent opioid overdose. Supervisor will provide clinical support, administrative and clinical supervision for Medication Assisted Treatment Program staff. Clinical supervisor will oversee the documentation and professional issues of Opioid Treatment Program staff. This position will review and assess client treatment plans, including short- and long-term goals and clinical records to evaluate the necessary level of patient care. This position will primarily serve adults but may also see families and children. This position will be 70% clinical and 30% administrative. Services include strength based comprehensive clinical assessments of adults and children, implementation of appropriate evidenced based treatments for psychiatric and substance use disorders when indicated, case management services and collaboration with other professionals in an integrated multidisciplinary environment. Employee is expected to provide individual, family, and group therapy utilizing culturally appropriate and evidence-based modalities of treatment. Employee will provide emergency, crisis intervention, consultation and education services as needed.
